Portsmouth Marching Trojans
Welcome to the home website for the Portsmouth High School Trojan Band program. This website will be used to keep students, parents, and the community up to date on all things Trojan Band. The Trojan Band program consists of the Junior High/Beginning Band, Marching Band, Pep Band, Jazz band, and Concert Band.
This Week In Band
Friday's performance- When I tell you I believe you had a good performance, you all can take that to heart- I'm being genuine. I'll tell you when i think it was bad, I'll tell you when I think it was mid, but I also try to make it a point when I think you've done well. I meant what I said in the moment Friday about it being a better performance than last week. After watching playback of the performance, I mean it even more.
Monday- field rehearsal 6-8pm.
We've got 2 hours to refresh and learn as much of song 2 as possible. Id like at least the first 10 sets. We have no pregame this week and I think we are good on song one- though we may run it once or twice.
Wednesday- field rehearsal 6-8pm
Review song 1. Review what we've done of song 2. Add some new sets.
Thursday- Feed the teams 5:30pm

Bring: Yourself, your manners, a good attitude
Friday- Football @ Gallia
Full Uniform with black socks. also tshirt, long sleeve shirt, or hoodie under uniform.

Reminder that there are cameras on the buses, they do check them, and if you decide to do things that are against school rules and get caught and punished there is nothing I can do for you. I also think most of you know that Mr. Manchester would not have a problem wanding us down before we get on the bus- in fact he'd do it with the biggest smile on his face. So make good decisions and don't put us in a situation where I have to ask him to do that or he decides to do that.
